PBM and CoQ10 Treatments Attenuate Cognitive Impairment Associated with Model of Transient Global Brain Ischemia in Artificially Aged Mice

We conclude that NIR PBM combined with CoQ10 had multiple mechanisms of action, targeting mitochondrial bioenergetics and biogenesis as well as anti-neuroinflammation in this model of ischemic brain damage in AA animals. The present study suggests that the PBM and CoQ10 treatments, alone or in combination, have procognitive effect in ischemic damage to aged brains of mice.

Infrared Laser Therapy for Ischemic Stroke: A New Treatment Strategy

Conclusion—The NEST-1 study indicates that infrared laser therapy has shown initial safety and effectiveness for the treatment of ischemic stroke in humans when initiated within 24 hours of stroke onset. A larger confirmatory trial to demonstrate safety and effectiveness is warranted.

Botulinum toxin A (BT-A) versus low-level laser therapy (LLLT) in chronic migraine treatment: a comparison

Conclusion: Our data showed that both treatments can be used to treat chronic migraine, without notable differences between them.

Transcranial Photobiomodulation Prevents Anxiety and Depression via Changing Serotonin and Nitric Oxide Levels in Brain of Depression Model Mice: A Study of Three Different Doses of 810nm Laser

Conclusion: Our results demonstrated that NIR TPBM had an anti-anxiety and anti-depressive effect in CRS mice, which is probably linked to increasing 5-HT and decreasing NO levels in the PFC and Hipp areas. Also, the maximum anti-anxiety and anti-depressive effect was produced at dose of 8 J/cm2.

Early Observations on the Use of Red and Infrared Light Helmets in Parkinson’s Disease Patients

Conclusions: In summary, our early observations are the first to note the impact of PBM on patients’ signs and symptoms over an extended period, up to 24 months, and lays the groundwork for further development to clinical trial.
